Capture the Image
Within my mind lies
A sea of grasslands and plains
Oceans and islands others can not fathom
Where screeching fires become melodic rains
Locations and their denizens hidden
In dreams, come day or night.
Occasionally, they rise to meet me
Once I see them within daylight.
Their physical form, captured within the pages
Faded lines form wondrous shapes.
A being’s image stored forever,
Within pages from my mindscape.
