Captain Capitalism's Curse
Dearest Mother,
Somewhere along the way I lost who I once was.
Homogenized-
Glued to the crowd as a
Statistic. Dissapeared within a
Corporate
Graph. Black and White.
Somewhere along the way I lost who I am.
Chastized
For my difference.
Slowly becoming
Indifferent to the
Gashes they gave my skin;
The dirt,
The grime, the
Tainted water.
Somewhere along the way I lost who I wanted to be.
Capsized
Ships carrying my
Corpse dreams.
Cash stashed in a
Hidden
Vault deep down in a
Dark,
Dark corner.
Sincerely,
Franklin- Your loving, paper-thin son
