Broken Soul

uptown lights broken
philantrophy clouds darken
gust of wind swinging on her shoulders
down the street she walks
half dead, gathering broken pieces of her soul
rain drops tingling on her wet skin
vanquished, gasping for her last breath
fallen wariors embrace her shadow
rooted underneath gravity
beneath sands and ashes
dust and echoing voices
her emotions are hidden in the rain
tears entangled in rain
in her eyes is a burning flame
scars beyond pain
she's now in the dark
she's queen of the dark
an emerald crashed to the ground
yet she spreads light on the face of dark memories
blur emotions and volatile bliss
blackened soul seeking for hapiness
but none can replace her sadness
