Broken Apology

BROKEN APOLOGY

Broken bones may shatter, broken glass may splatter,

The differences between these materials and a broken heart, is it can not ever be fixed.

You may apology one thousand times, but words do not take away the pain

You can give all the riches and gold, but it does take away the shame.

For once a heart has been broken, it may try to heal, but it will not fully recover, for it is not steal.

You can’t just add more pieces to it, reshape it, or buy it a new.

Our heart hold memories of our past, the very essence of who we want to be.

The emotions, the hold our life story,

The tears that we have cried, souls of love ones who may passed by, that time we decided to talk,

Or move our limbs and started to walk, the look of those who pieces of us we gave, and mostly,

The faces of those who brought us down in shame.

We can try to forgive, it’s a easy thing to do, but forgetting will never happen, it stays with you.

They say falling down is the easy part, i guess that must be true.

It is easier to put the shame on others, if it can take it away from you.

They say getting is the hard part, they must have known this to be right.

Once you thrown someone down, if you look closely, you’re the one on the ground.

You can pull and thug, push and scream, the more you try, the harder it seems,

Because you will always carry a weight, to hard move, to heavy to bare.

But no matter where you go, it will always be there.

Dead skin may peal, cuts and bruises may heal,

The difference between these wounds, and the ones on a heart,

Once you words hurt them an attack, pieces fly everywhere, and they won’t come back.

Not only do your hurt someone with a name, you destroyed a life,

Someone’s child, someone’s sibling, someone’s relative, but to you, just another person.

They might not understand, the cards that has been given to you,

But you don’t have to so senseless, unsupportive, and make them go through your obstacles.

They have enough to deal with, enough weights to carry, to many rivers of tears,

Just because you a mile in someone shoes, does not mean that you understand,

Let them relax for you have some years to go, someone mountains to climb,

Some blood to be spilled, and aches and pain, even with all of this,

You still won’t fully understand half of their pain. For their story is not your own.

This is my broken apology, for i know, what is broken can not be fixed,

This is me carrying my load, in hope some is taken off of you

Stay strong, stay beautiful, stay powerful, stay you.

Remember, no one can destroy a black queen, they may only fail, and strengthen you empire.
