The Brighter Side
Sometimes, things go wrong
And make your life seem like a sad song
But what you don't know
Is that even when you feel really low
There's a brighter side waiting to show
Maybe you experienced the death of a loved one
But now their pain and suffering is done
Maybe you'll never become the singer you wanted to be
But now you can open your eyes and see
Another amazing opportunity
Like being a dancer
Or being the one to find a cure for cancer
Maybe you didn't get into the college of your dreams
But maybe that college isn't as marvelous as it seems
And now your smile is brighter than the sun that beams
You see, there's a reason why things happen as they do
So the right moment can actually come true
The world is one big mystery
Just open your eyes and you will see
It's filled with much possibility
That's why I find this world to be so awesome
You never know what you can become
