She's stuck.
Stuck right in the middle of the bridge,
No longer a child,
Playing with dolls and living carefree,
Not having to think for herself because she's just told what to do,
She takes a few steps forward.
But she's not yet an adult
She takes a few steps back,
Her parents and teachers are pushing her forward,
But fond memories and her friends are pulling her backwards...
Her feet are stuck firm on the ground,
She realizes there is no rush,
To cross the bridge,
And so she decided that she will cross at her own pace,
One step at a time,
LIstening to her mind and more importantly, her heart.
