Breakdown

My eye is an ocean of glass,

Soft ripples sparkling beneath sun bright,

Too much darkness below to see.

Even I am blinded to the turbulent shapes below,

While surface tension barricades without from within.

New pains gurgle below the surface of white,

Tremulously sinking below glass, until—

BANG

Sea-salt pores oozing that dread liquid

Depressed within that window-barrier of soul and sight

Tenacious now after tantalizing at the edge

Jesting over now glass-burst commence

Severed iron surface-control

Low-key breakdown telling the story hidden

Now revealed and prepared to

EXPLODE
