Branches

Branches are sweet to my feet.

they land every where that I can see,

fall into the unexpected places of all places,

under cars, in the lawn, on the roof.

I wish I could be a branch,

nothing to do all day,

just get thrown around and played with.

Yet I look over and see that I am a branch,

all the worries and fallen down.
