From Boy to Girl, to Girl from Boy

Sex change, fighting a never ending war

Transphobic people throw us into the dirt

Should it matter who we are at the core?

Nothing but Frankenstein’s monsters on Earth

Our bodies should not offend a child’s eyes

Why are you so blind?

It’s pathetic that we should speak in lies

Who in your life gave you authority?

Our bodies, our choice, who cares if we change?

You didn’t like us as we were anyways

We should slap you with that biblical cage

This confusing, whirling word is a maze

We won’t hide away as you wanted us

It’s not a badge we wear, so don’t discuss
