Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on me
That is what we normally think
But it is different this time

The fool is not the victim now
The fool is not within the weapon
The fool is the one who thinks that he
Is qualified to hurt another

Who is able enough to do so?
Who is eligible?
Not even the greatest among us;
For, that man should never cause hurt.

Once in Boston when a massacre occured
Our enemy was a fool;
Now again in Boston a massacre occurs
And our enemy is still the fool!

For, he knows not that his actions
Have broken nothing of our spirits.
He has massacred our hope, yes
But only for a single moment.

Now we look back and are united
Now we surely understand
The one who allows others to move him
Turns out to be the real fool in the end.
