Blue Night Jjong

He is now nothing but star dust and memories,

a man who spoke of understanding and constant love.

Star dust is the only way to describe him,

the twinkling hope as he drifts through a night sky

lit by a full aqua moon, glittering and gleaming.

No one has ever provided a feeling of comfort quite like him.

A feeling that fell upon you and lifted the worries from your shoulders,

swadling you until you felt smothered in his presence.

A voice dancing in your ears, your mind, your heart.

He sang beautiful words that bandadged your wounds,

words that built you a shelter and made it your home.

He aimed only to make others happy and he was a perfect shot.

When he left his human form and took his place

sprinkled across the night sky,

everyone tried to latch on to him.

They tried to trap him in their jars, claiming that they knew his powers.

They claimed that they loved his shine before it was a trend,

but they lied.

I was one of the few that knew of his sparkle even when it was dull,

one who wanted nothing more than to thank him for his strength.

The Blue Night himself,

all hope and twinkles, smiles and tears.

He taught me to want to help.

The Blue Night taught me to love and

aspire to be something bigger than this body I have.

The Blue Night didn't just cover me and give me shelter,

he lifted me up and whispered "You can do this, even through the pain".

His words echoing through lonely nights and heart ache.

His light turning the world aqua, and making my heart full.

"I will fight for everything you believed in until I become stardust too"

I whisper back to him, and he smiles.

"Don't worry," he says softly, "I'm okay, and Spring will come again for you too."

despite the hurt, I believe him, and aim to perfect my shot.
