Blooming Love

Before I refused to write words filled with love

I bled every breathe except for my last

My pooling blood would drip and drift into a far away place

My heart dropped the Crimson line and I was becoming solid

I was loosing myself and who God had wanted me to be

I was becoming a numb and lifeless robot of modern day

Obsession with looking like the rest and doing what they did

Wanted nothing more but to be wanted but masking it with hate

Beneath my hard dry soil you grew, I love so strong you broke through

You made love rain and flourish again and out came the green sprout

Started small but changed everything

You are my bloom and you are the start to my garden

What I have for you is more than love and more than words, it is real life

I am but a girl and you are but a boy

Together we can do anything and be anyone

You made this happen when you watered my garden
