Bloody Love

Bloody Love

Love, she is so lusted after.
She is bled for,
Starved for,
Thirsted for,
Wished for,
She even haunts your dreams, goals, and aspirations.
She comes with the Sun, and leaves you for the moon.
Manipulation is her game,
Your heart is her gain.
For Love is a selfish bitch,
Why do I want her so?
She never wants all of you,
But smiles in the slow death of your heart.
She can give you the high of any drug,
And resembles its addiction.
She digs deep within you,
And plants a fear of loneliness.
Oh, how I lust for her.
In every daydream, she romances me.
In every nightmare, she’s the monster who revels in my blood.
She keeps herself a breath away,
Hidden within a stranger.
I don’t him yet,
I don’t her yet,
But they hold her,
and I will find them both.
Waiting for me under the lime tree.
I pray that I will be strong and defeat her
I pray that I will arrive with a shield over my heart,
Logic as my sword.
I pray my lovers will pray too.
I will grab her by the neck and they will hold her arms.
My eyes will stare into hers and my voice will whisper,
My heart is not yours, but mine.
I will reclaim my emotions,
I will reclaim my thoughts.
I will reclaim my dreams.
The lies within her fairytales have come to the light.
I am free
