It's an empty promise.
A temporary bliss.
But blissful nonetheless
Scaring my worries away
Even if just for a few moments.
But the thought to let go is terrifying
To let go so that I may enter this realm again
To let go so that I may face my fears
To let go so that I may confront what keeps me awake at night
To let go to face the monotony of routine
And I'm not fearless
So I faulter
Faulter Everytime logic strikes,
Strikes to break my shell
