A blanket over the whole ocean
This heavy darkness encapsulates,
a blanket over the whole ocean,
a danger and a savior to bate
innumerable questions, all to be thrown in a bin
never looked at. Never answered,
for this is mindless darkness,
uncaring, unfeeling, dead.
But it would envy you if it could.
It would envy you like the ground
underneath your feet,
the ground that wishes it could breathe
and have something to step on.
To see, to see, to see,
blossoms of yellow, red, green.
I am a vessel,
a blanket over the whole ocean.
