Black Love

Sat, 06/22/2019 - 21:48 -- Kai123

I love being black and I especially love my Nigerian heritage it’s what makes me who i am.

I love the swing in black hips, the jaunt in the black walk, the confidence in black bodies.

I love the assurance in black words, The care in black grandmothers, The sense of spirit in black churches.

I love the joy in black smiles, The unspoken language between all black people, and the humor in a black laugh.

I love these things because they’re me and they’re what make up the things around me, they make me feel like I belong, and what I’m fighting for is a fight worth fighting.
