Black Lives Matter Every Day

Tue, 07/07/2020 - 00:10 -- Anne M

I am the revolution

My existence is our context

My existence is the very thing they were afraid of.

I've done nothing wrong

But breathe the air I thought was free

And walk in a world I assumed was safe.

I am no enemy to the world

The ignorant are the dangerous ones

Unwilling to see past their own

unsophisticated mentality.

My life matters today

Tomorrow and

The day after, it always had.

Our world
