Black Jade

Tue, 09/30/2014 - 01:46 -- alymie

I go into the night

just outside, within the gates

to the deep dark pool of black jade

The moon dances on the water

The water is cool like stone

I wade in untill knees deep and then, dive in...

Here, I lay afloat in black jade

one with the sky

The stars sparkle above me and I float in the mirror,

I am in the space

I am in the silence

strange, seemingly weightless

all I hear is the water's hiss from afar and my breath

all I feel is my rise and fall in cold stone

all I see is space in the black jade

I am at peace.
