Crazy how they never listen to the hieroglyphs of a messiah till he fits society's latest trends/ Does this make our society more indicative/ Towards a visuaul aspect then actually grasping concept by the minds we associate true intellect in?/ Blinded by these control systems of secret societies tyring to drag us to hell by our lust for wants because it was those we thought we needed/ Ironic how the closest to you plot the destruction of treason/ Because it'll be those same people you break bread with that'll leave your scalp peeled back on that cold, lonley curb head bleeding/ Deceived by the false pretenses of this American Dream got us really thinking/ We're successfully hopping fences to the finish/ When in actuality we're still breaking our backs relentless by action killing off our own breed just to add to the systems riches/ And oh the irony behind the same women we're so quick to peel a man's scalp for if he ever disprespect her we call bitches/ And those same so called "thugs" be the same ones to crack under pressure trying to save themselves from the penitentiary and we call those people snitches/The irony behind/ Putting our sistas and brothers down is a majority of the time/ Misery loves company and the company you keep sometimes burns bridges/ And there's been a couple of them who've made it out the hood because they knew your dreams and unleashed a couple 9 milli midgets/ But as I'm talking to the younger generation I'm simply saying "Lil' homie don't cringe it/ My guy we gon prosper as a culture one of these days when ignorance ain't confronted wit' the flames from a pulled trigga/ And check it, erbody ain't meant to be a trapper nigga/ So stick to those books cuz although Jay Z is my biggest influence you nor I could eva move weight like Jigga"/ Realist, how many of us have them/ Sucks for the artistry behind a poets life living for the passion of music when the realest all has beens/ Because now I hear and see everything about these new niggas/ These new niggas will put a shelly in they're homie just to end his conquest/ The infection of death to a complexion just to watch ignorance manifest/ Is the definition as to why they rock a black chain/ You see that black rain?/ Its the ignorance of a culture why our blood flourishes the streets causing anguish and pain/ Can't you visualize the irony behind our own people being the reason why our own race is at the top of the food chain/ BLACK CHAIN, THAT BLACK CHAIN, MY PEOPLE WHY MUST OUR KILLERS BE APART OF THAT BLACK CHAIN.!?
