Black is BEAUTIFUL

They made me proud of my blackness.

You can't hide blackness into a container and wish it wouldn't shine.

The rays are so bright you might not want it to hit your eye.

The melanin is so strong that you've to wonder how I'm 40 and I look 16.

I come in all Types of shape and sizes from tall like a mountain to short like a pea.

When I dance I can keep a rhythm not just a beat.

My hair texture ranges from 2c to 4c so I’m just as springy as the curls in my hair.

Black is indefinite and it's so powerful.

Black is bold.

Black isn't dark and evil, it's a beautiful thing.

You can tamper with it but it'll never crack.

Black is beauty.

Black cannot be withered, it will only withstand.

I stand behind my sisters and brothers when I tell you black is beautiful and I’m proud to be black.
