There aren't many people

who seem to ever stay around

In fact, they all eventually leave

and forget all about me.

My self loathing can take a toll

but I truly hold you closest to my heart

and I hope we never come to part

Not all special relationships come romantically

I treat our friendship sorta fanatically

The thought of losing you sends me panicking

You keep me going and always hoping for a better day.
