Belong
There’s black and white, and dark and light,
Never are they to mix together.
But how two worlds bordered each other,
How close they really were together.
Caught in the middle,
Feeling the pull of each side, calling.
One world, full of perfection,
A comfortable place called home, forever,
A proper life, satisfying and splendid,
The other world,
Unfamiliar and uncanny,
Beautiful, scary, wild and cruel things,
Existed all around, enveloped in mystery,
Present as a premonition or possibility,
Full of violence, curiosity,
And consequences,
But by far the more appealing,
Almost touching the other world,
Ready to blend into one.
