It's never been difficult for me to put thoughts to word

Thinking in phrases unseen but well-heard

I always wrote my meanings with the intent to be direct

And let the words that came out create their own effect

With the usage of words with the definitions most convenient

The effect of my enunciation is always close to immediate

I've been given a gift in being literate and literal

So it's a huge challenge to use words in ways more liberal

Figuring out language that leans more to figurative

It's a challenge, but possible, so I'll try to stay positive
