Being Human
When did people stop being people?
But their race,
thier age,
their gender, or lack of,
their sexuality,
their religion,
their beliefs,
their ideas,
And become wrapped up in what others thought of them,
Caught and judged for being different.
Didn't we learn with Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer that...
it's okay to be different?
Because differences are what make people beautiful.
Smiles, laughs, hopes, dreams.
None two the exact same.
No two people are the exact same.
So why are we treated as carbon copies?
And if one deviates from the path chosen for them
by others, they are shunned.
Since when did human stop being human?
