Mother of Jesus

Mother of God

Mother of all men

She knew not a man

BUt became a carrying woman

When Angel Gabriel told her God's request

She did not argue, rather she said "'Yes"

Mary had a choice

She could have said "no"

But instead of scrambling back to the crowd of noise

She agreed to her fate with a reason she couldn't possibly know

She trusted God's plan

She trusted His words

She even said, "Be it done to me according to Thy word"

Hail MAry!

You are truly full of Grace

You are the beginning of salvataion for our race

 

Mary, Mother Mary

She is the New Eve

who was favoured by God and in her womb, she conceived

and bore the Son of the Most High Jesus

He who had suffered and died for us

To save us from our human sinfulness

And that was all possible when Mary said 'Yes'

Our spiritual mother on whom we can depend on

Through her, we are led to her son

 

Mary

who is the perfect model of obedience and faith

Because of it, she was able to pass through the Heaven's gate

She is the example we, all, should follow

Not just by heart, but also by strength and by soul

Mother Mary

Who had made the free act of becoming the mother of Jesus

As it further made her the mother of all of us

 

To Jesus through Mary

We honour her by praying the Rosary

She has been raised from lowly to high places

All because Mary had said "yes"
Through her, we are led to her Son Jesus, our Lord and Saviour

May she guide us from now to our last hour

 

To God we pray we all become like Mary

For it is our way back of becoming Holy

May we say "yes" to God's great invitaion

The way Mary had, with no hesitation

Mary showed us an act of true faith and love

That could also lead to God and Jesus above

It made way for our Saviour and the beginning of our Salvation
