Befriending Pieces

She cries late at night when no one can hear her
He screams in the shower because of the pressure
She runs to a corner because that's her only friend
He tries to man up, but he's broken within

She smiles in the day in front of her peers
Shining bright in the mist of her years
The day goes by and all of those cheers...
Turned right back to oppressing tears

He goes on and follows the trend
Nothing is better than being with a friend
He's hiding a secret deep within
He's a broken one, gone with the wind

All they want is to fit in
Feel like they belong
See how it feels to win
And not do nothing wrong

But they can't help feeling like they aren't good enough
Until they found each other and made their world a park...
