Because I loved you, 

a simple text, a simple call,

seems to just explain it all,

those eyes look deep,

big, bold and brown,

your honesty and heart is full and round,

I learned compassion,

I learned to wait,

you've shown me true love,

when all I seemed to know was hate,

in my past there has been extreme hurt,

i didn't want to love anyone,

giving myself hope was too much to exert,

i have always questioned my hopeless romantic,

fighting my mind, sinking like the titanic,

my heart is on full, its gigantic, 

i gave enormous love to those who rejected,

only to still love them because I was tempted,

you give me passion that burns in your eyes,

showing me healthy love truly never lies,

even when mad it takes a few days,

my love always comes back never parts ways,

you see me deeper, you see me clear

but because I loved you

i loved myself even deeper this whole year,

while you may not feel the same,

i truly understand,

anyone who ends up loving you will have a great man,

because I loved you I managed to leave my toxic ex,

i faced all the demons I seemed to surpress,

you gave me hope, you gave me dreams,

to find the real deep candice it seems,

i cannot be mad for I am truly glad,

that loving you has brought me out of the bad,

for I thank you for seeing my heart,

Seeing my pain and transformation become an art,

because I loved you I found a new me,

my goals, dreams and ambitions are no longer farther than I can see,

because I loved you dear I became  spiritually free.
