Because I Love You - Fragile Masculinity

Because I love you we wrap our cold bodies in blankets together,

watching our faviorite shows and sipping your favorite hot chocolate breverage,

with a smudge of whip cream on your nose.

Because I love you I put my feelings aside,

I hid my vulnerabilities, bottled and repressed them.

Because I love you I pretended to be strong,

so you wouldn't worry about soothing my anxiety.

Because I love you I showed you how fragile I am.

Because I love you I believed you when you said you cherished how I made you feel.

Because I love you I sobbed when you left.
