Because I Love You

Because I love you,

my eyes are open, I trust in you.

After every day, we ask "what is new?"

We only need eachother, we do not need a crew,

because to eachother, we are more true.

Getting eachother medicine, love, and soup,

when we are feeling bad and feeling blue.

You lean on me through your hard times

and I lean on you during mine,

tolerating me when all I do is wine.

With eachother, we spend all of our time,

because we know that it doesn't cost us a dime.

We will incline and decline,

but we will always revive,

because when we look at eachother, we flat line.

When I inhale you, I exhale hate

because when I inhale you,

you filtrate.

You filtrate all hurt and pain,

you make it all go away.

Now there is no more amnimosity,

no more bitterness, bigotry, or blame.

I will support you and I will wipe your tears.

I will not bring you down, will not laugh at your fears.

I will laugh with you and cherish these moments forever.

I am so ready to continue this journey with you,

let's go live these years,

because I love you.
