Beauty and a Dream

As I gaze upon the stars in the heavens,

I began to wish for a dream that's pleasent.

A dream that I'm the not-so-strange girl

who finds a prince who's not so arrogant and dances in a twirl.

I've reached upon an abandon castle

to discover a hideous man that's in a tassel.

Over the period of time I start to wonder,

is this the man that is my true lover?

I know my parents will never approve.

Why waste my time on a challenge I'll lose?

But then again, why not try

to convince them that he's the right guy?

Just then my sight of him starts to vanish

to awaken from the rings of a Belle and a red rose in a glass that's replenished.
