Beauty and the Beast

Once upon a time...

In the nighttime,

An old hag came to my castle.

She began to babble

And asked me for shelter from the storm

In exchange for a rose.

A pathetic flower in exchange for a room,

I decided to laugh at this bloom

That she had offered me.

However, she then turned the tables and I began to plea.

She was an entrantress and saw the lack of love I had

I became mad

as she turned me into a hideous beast.

Many years later, a beautiful girl came.

She was told to stay in the east,

But she would not be tame.

She came into the west wing

and slowly started to tug at my heartstrings.

We fell in love and I was changed,

My heart and soul's motives were rearranged

And I became unestranged.

Being returned to my human form

helped me to reform.

Now we live happily ever after

because my large amount of fur

did not matter to her.
