Beautifully Bound

Sat, 08/26/2017 - 12:17 -- TeddyB.

His love I lavishly breathe

floods and fills my lungs.

The addictive alluring aroma

suffocates me to incapacitation.

Completely and hopelessly unaware

even to a thorn's prick in my side

I fall victim to simply

the way he calls out for me.

He exhales my name with adoration;

a sacred marriage of vowel and consonant.

This love spoken collection of sound swiftly

makes way down the isle of his lips parting,

and acquaints itself to my ears to dwell

as if to leave me enchanted or spellbound.

His tightening grasp around my throat

grows comforting...

Time's fleet is the least of my woes.

I am beautifully bound and entrapped.
