Waking up I see the sun starting to glow above the horizon

Just beyond the gravel driveway with the green truck and pine trees

I see past the open road

To the ocean below starting to sparkle with silver glitter

I hear the sound of birds

I move to the cold window and

I fog up the glass and draw a smiley face

Happy to see the beauty

Nature has offered me today
