"Beats"

My anatomy teacher told me today that your heart beats, on average, 100,000 beats per day, about 35 million a year and 2.5 billion times in a lifetime. I met you at the age of 19… That means my heart has beat about 665 million times before I met you. Since I met you my heart has stopped 6 times. The first time I saw you, Our first kiss, that moment you looked me in my eyes and told me “I like you dork”, the time you surprised me when you said yes when I asked you to be my girl, that day you said I make you happier than any guy in the world, and the last time I saw you in my truck and you asked me “do you have to leave?” My point is this, I’m pretty sure those first 665 million beats were missing out and the moments that my heart has stopped are some of the best in my life and I wouldn’t mind missing a few more with you in my next 1.9 billion beats.
