In the dark

Gasping for air

Silent body-encompassing sobs

Fists to thighs

Continuos over the same spot

Tearing at left side and stomach

Again at the right side of neck

Slight hair pulling

Control

No more than 5 minutes

Dried tears

Scrubbed face red

Smile in my pocket
