Average
By the time you graduate high school you’re not supposed to be a virgin.
That’s everyone’s MO throughout the whole year.
But I’m not like all the others.
I don’t open my legs to every guy that got a thing for me, I still hold on to dignity.
I can still promote my purity.
I’m not bending over backwards for some male attention. Two or three compliments don’t start my ignition.
My friends aren’t fake, and my face ain’t baked.
I got God on my side, so ima let them thugs slide.
Yeah I’ve made mistakes just like everybody else, but I learn from them to improve myself.
I don’t walk around the world with my booty hanging out. I don’t try to impress by having my chichis all out.
I have pride and confidence, you know, what I need to survive in this battle between the world and God.
A lot of people fit the definition of average but I’m category original.
Many people say there’s something different about me but they don’t know what it is.
So let me tell all you folks what it is.
It’s the God in me. Sing Mary Mary;
tell them why I’m not ordinary.
