Aunt Shels' Poem

One day you’re here, the next you’re gone

Going on without you, seems so wrong.

I can’t seem to think straight.

My mind is always up late.

The debt of why you’re not here,

It seems like you suddenly just disappeared.

Everything feels so strange,

You’re absence is making me deranged.

Everything is so different now,

And I still don’t understand how.

Even after all these years,

I still shed all these tears.

I need you now more than ever,

But it’s too late, you’re gone forever.

I miss you more than you’ll ever know.

I wish I could have told you so.

This poem is about:
My family

I wrote this poem about my aunt who committed suicide a few years ago.  Losing her REALLY affected me.
