I write this poem to express
The feelings you have after losing a teammate
One who shared more than a jersey and logo
Who was more of a brother than friend
One that trusted you and you trusted him
One that encouraged you instead of discouraged you
One that always kept a smile on his face and
worked hard whether winning or losing
One that always knew he could of made it
Because he had the heart and the talent
Always have each team, each player,
each coach the respect they deserved
And was always a good fried, a good son,
a good brother, but more importantly,
He was a great individual on the football field
He didn't have to say a lot or yell a lot
But you knew when he put that jersey on
And stepped out onto that field that
he was gonna give it his all and
His all he did give
