Ashes and Dust

Ashes and dust

Ashes and dustThe world will crumble like iron and rustThe darkness will fall like a deadly veilThe war is over humanity failedThe last cries of life are silently heardThe final man utters his final wordsThe nuclear power glows like the sun The final man asks, "what have we done?"The fires burn and the oceans riseThe moon watches as it's neighbor diesThe land is silent the night approachesNo one survived not even the roachesThe planet is scarred with an ugly stainThe end is here and all that remainsBlows in the wind and sits on earth's crustAshes and dustAshes and dust
