Ashes
What can you say what can you do,
When your nightmares finally come true,
They grab your throat and hold on tight,
And keep you up late at night,
Their touch so cold and so real,
To the point if he would take them away with satan you’d make a deal,
To the point you wish they’d all burn to ash,
So you would have forgotten all your worlds in which clashed,
And all the fights and all the pain,
All those memories that drive you insane,
And you’d take those ashes still warm inside,
And spread them to the wind forgiving those who lied,
That maybe somewhere bland and grey,
They’d bloom something beautiful come what may,
So instead of pain and sorrow and hurt,
And all those memories that left you in the dirt,
They’d grow out and reach someone knew,
And ease their pain and stop their boohoo’s,
So even though your empty inside,
Here's something you can’t deny,
It’s better to feel nothing at all,
Then to have your emotions tear you apart and make you fall.
