The Answer

In this life I’m not the same

As all those who seem to blame

Everyone but themselves

I find I have to delve

Through my soul to find the answer

I want to be a freelancer

Everyone tells me to go to college

'That’s the only way to judge one's knowledge'

But I’m not like the rest

I don’t wish to be the best of the best

You can’t be defined through tests

What I wish is to enlighten

Others not to be frightened

By the future and the unknown

What should or should not be shown

If they can live without their phones

If they can disappear and still find home

To these mysteries of life most are prone

Many think these problems disappear if they’re wealthy

That they can buy their solution and still be healthy

I think that’s the saddest part

If they buy the world they’ll lose their hearts

From serenity they’ll depart

When their lives becomes stock charts
