It's cold

But the sun is out

She's surrounded by a shadow

It keeps her quiet and alone

Even when there are hundreds around her

The sun sets in a melancholy way

And the night seems everlasting

Everything is dull

Food has no flavor

Colors have no appeal

And everything seems to be monotone

Is it just her?

Is she alone?

In the dark, by herself?

Can anyone hear her

As she screams underwater

Or as blood trickles down her wrist

Or as a the rope snaps

Or as the trigger is pulled?

Don't wait until the darkness swallows her

Reach out

Grab her

Love her

Make her see another sunsire

Help her find the the colors of life once more
