Big kitty cat eyes,

Innocent puppy dog cries.

Homeless animals melt my heart,

I have to step up and do my part.

I want to save the cats and dogs,

but first let me give some applause.

The no-kill shelters that we have today

deserve praise for saving the strays.

Please go to shelters to find a pet,

it won’t even put you into debt!

Lets make puppy mills a thing of the past,

and save the animals at last!
