Anger and Monsters

So small at first but it grows unaware.

Like a monster in the night it will tell you

"I'm alright."

But Dear, open your eyes

to the demons of the night.

At first it seems so right.

For to hate is easier than to forgive,

to chose anger over love,

lust over companionship,

beauty over food,

abuse over respect,

and fitting in over standing out.

It may seem so small at first,

but will grow over so little time.

Because a rock can create mountains,

A seed: it's trees.

And anger grows when you feed it right,

So my dear be wary of the monsters in the night.

We Dream of Stars

This poem is about the world but there are several things that I included that are personal to me. In the Bible there is a passage thet says something about "faith of a mustard seed" and how that "it can grow trees larger than mountains".  Another thing is how easy it is to hate and be angry towards someone who has wronged you.

MVP-Most Valuable Poet

it is very easy to have animosity towards someone who did you wrong

i see you're familiar with the bible, that's good

here's a verse for you

matthew 5:44 states

love your enemies who cursed you

do good to those who hate you

pray for those who spitefully persecute you

read that verse for yourself

read also luke 6;27

God speaks to you in so many ways

its very inspiring
