The Angel of Rio

Miguel watches

From his tower

Stands before the cliff

As he and Jesus converse

No matter how much

Miguel bumps into

The enormous buildings

As he flaps his newborn wings,

Jesus, watching from

The cliff, swoops in

As a mother eagle,

And teaches him how to

Fly.

As Miguel flaps his

Wings, with his

Mission to discover

And watch over The

Promised Land,

He looks up to Jesus,

With His redeeming

Smile, shining down proudly

On his angel as Miguel

Asks, "Who is like God?"
