And Her Name Was Dawn (Explicit)

You say I’m ugly because my skin is dark

Brown, medium skin tone

Dark black, like chocolate

You say it is me and “my attitude”

I smile.

This is one battle you will lose

The opposing parties have already stepped aside

For me to roar a thunder that is unmatched

Willie Lynch would be so proud

You bound yourself with the hands of time

Your numbers have fallen

While my education has risen

You stand on one last leg

You are the hunted

And they are the hunters feasting on your bread

And wine as you tremble and bleed

This is a game you will not win

Cross over to my side and be my comrade

Dawn has just risen

And a new day has appeared

We fight in numbers shattered

And forgone

A new battle has erupted

And your side has been chosen

Your friends’ bodies lay abound

Smelling at my feet

Those decomposing bodies rot

And they do not care

Your worth is only as much as they seem to give it

This is a conflict you will not win

Here, come be my friend

A Nigger is he who do not stand up for his people

Who have beaten his women

And have slain the truly awe inspiring

Legacy of his blood

A Nigger is I if I were to apologize for my very existence

A Nigger is you to sit there and banish me from the table

Sending me back through the rear door

Out into the rain
