Trapped by monetary need and

seeking some relief and

stress is strangling and

I wish I could keep eating

school is expensive

my money leaves me for there

running gently and

it takes my livelihood and

I wish I didn't have loans and

I wish it wasn't so cold and

I wish I was more bold and

I wish I had more money to spend

So I can get an education

and I can get a job and

I can have more money to spend

on my children's education.
