Amour

Love is what I know
and you call me stupid for knowing

Love makes me breathe
You block the air going out of me

I know full well, our new life
We cling to bottles of alcohol
like new lovers as we once were

We used to be angels in love
but your tone is cold and scary and dark
like the light that went out inside my mind
There is only darkness at the end of the tunnel
This endless path we walk

I mar you body with my love
The bruises are my kisses
The cuts are from my love letters
I thought that love was gentle and nice
then why are you crying and hurting

We harass love with the name of love
We redefined love
Now it is just a disease, a sickness
and you are my witness

They call this blinded love
You are the reason I open my eyes

I toss you on to the bed
In hopes that you would continue
to play this game with me

Could we experience this euphoria again?
Clinging to each other, naked
That maybe tomarrow, this will end
