America the Great?

America the great? I ask the people living in this country are you aware and know of our black and brown past? I speak to the younger generation (of black and brown people.) They have a responsibility to history to do something. They have a role to play; they have people to serve.  As Jorge Santayana said, “people, who don’t understand the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them." I want the world to know that maybe America is not so great again and how we may be losing what moral vision America may have had. One thing I’m concerned about it if though we unite as the people and for the people, will we walk into a place that does not understand that this nation needs to be deeply concerned with the plight of the poor and disenfranchised? You ask me how do we make America great again and I will reply that we need to commit ourselves a hundred percent to ensure that the underclass is given justice and opportunity, we will continue to perpetuate the anger and violence that tears at the soul of this nation.
