Ambition

No one is flawless

To claim to be so is a mark of arrogance

And empty pride.

To believe that you are perfect,

Going through life content with your flaws

Thinking you'll be sucessful

Simply being okay

Is lazy

Especially when you are capable of so much more.

Someday, you'll complete some great work.

And stand around after it's completion,

Looking for the admiration of you peers.

When a chance glance reveals

That someone else did it better

with less effort

in half the time.

No one will pay your creation any mind.

So screw them all!

If your best wasn't good enough,

You'll have to be better.

Look toward your flaws.

Find them,

Fix them,

Embrace your faults and accept the challenge!

True perfection may be unobtainable,

But that won't stop you from trying.

Work towards self-improvement

Every day,

Bit by bit,

You'll get better.

And one day,

Make something that truly is

Flawless
